Sorry….i come from a uk breaks background and i can’t help but lump Skrillex in with the whole US led EDM scene – that leaves me cold…enjoying M.I.A at the moment though.

Watched Later with Jools a few months back and he had Arcade Fire on. None of it made any sense, I just don’t get them, it all sounds terrible.

I’d gone off Arcade Fire, but seeing as DebZ’s ears don’t like them, I’m beginning to think they’re awesome again. I like that there are so many of them. 🙂

Bizarrely flying back from Portugal last weekend got stuck thanks to French air traffic controllers, delayed by 5 hours met an ex glasto mate of a mate, me to restless toddlers to contain and a pissed off wife, him still living the dream knocking back the beers on a stag party

I think Arcade Fire suffer from the fact that they got all of their best work out of the way on their first record. I’d take Funeral as one of the great albums of my record-buying lifetime but the rest of their stuff isn’t in the same ballpark.

Damn that Four Tet, i leave the room for a minute to go for a piss and i hear a crash……….the rumble from the sub on a specific track wobbled my pint from the table and it’s now all over the floor…pint glass is still intact though so at least that’s a plus.

Oh, look, I remember some moany grump whinging about this kind of thing on the rugby thread. Must have a read through and see who it was.

I really do love a Arcade Fire, they never fail to make me feel happy:)

Whilst i can admire Arcade Fire for their musical ability to play extremely tight live, e.g. every bar is tight to perfection and the key is almost spot on but i can’t help but be distracted by what else i’m doing or another webpage i have open – it’d be different if i was actually there but watching them live is rather a chore.

Edit : Although saying that i can get into this track playing at the moment
