    Currently run Mud X tyres on UST rims (XT) and really rate them as a cracking tyre even though they do burp rather easily if run under 30psi.
    My question is if I put them on to ghetto 717’s will they work as well or because the tyre shoulder cannot lock properly into the rim am I going to suffer sudden death syndrome?

    They should be fine. I run them ghetto.
