Garmin AI

I could not find an existing thread about this.

Have we done the new Garmin AI (“athlete intelligence”) feature? It appears to shove your activity data into an LLM and spit out a load of total nonsense.

I went for a very slow very muddy 5k run with my dog. It is not completely flat, but the highest point is probably at most 2m above the lowest point.

Currently my running is even slower than normal. Anyway.

Somewhere, someone burned a few hundred grams of coal to produce this.

Oh, right. I spent ages fighting Garmin to get it to admit that it knew about my watch, must have had a senior moment as a result.
