Game of Thrones

Stop your moaning you lot, it is easily the best TV series ever made.

The title of the books gives a lot away in itself. ‘A song of ice and fire’ so the ending: a great big fight between an army from the north headed by Stannis (?!) and another one headed by daenerys targaryen astride a great big black dragon, accompanied by her army and 2 other dragons.

This series has been a bit slow – hopefully it is building to something. The gore / body count has been pretty low so far.

Just caught up last night. Now I see understand the comments about why you want to see more of her!

It’s certainly slower than others, I just hope 1/ it’s building to a massive climax; 2/ they don’t go the same way as other epic series and just keep stringing it along because the advertising numbers are good. In the final reckoning, we don’t remember Fawlty Towers or Breaking Bad because of their revenue, it’s because they came, did what they had to do, and then **** off once it was done leaving you thinking ‘Wow!’

Well, I just started watching, halfway through S1, and from what you lot are saying it seems there actually it’s a point where you get bored with Emilia Clarke getting her kit off?

I believe that she stops getting her kit off for a few series

I reckon if they realised the series was going to be quite as big as it is they wouldn’t have smashed through the books quite as rapidly. I think were due a whole series of iron islanders whining to each other on a beach at some point.

Well…it’s not boring anymore… 😯

In some ways I enjoyed the 1 on 1 verbal sparring of the last episode morevthan todays……. but **** yeah Darth Mauls icy brother was a bit scary, couldnt understand why they werent paddling, I’d be going like a **** outboard!!!

I think this whole series has been a bit meh, but last night’s was rather good. Glad to see after 4.5 series of talk the white walkers have finally turned up in force.
If i’d been on that boat I’d have been making the f**kers row a bit faster.
Now might be a good time to have a few dragons.

I tried again from the start, last time I tried I got to Series1 Ep6, this time over the weekend I got to Ep4 and lobbed in the towel… I must admit I just don’t get it.

Its like The Walking Dead+Game of Thrones in 1 episode!

Awesome episode. Valarium steel stock has just shot up.

Also had to laugh during the Thronecast follow up show, they’ve identified the leader of the white walkers.

Excellent episode, it’s been a long time coming!

Also, I’m in love with Melisandre.

Best episode of all the series so far IMO. Not in the books either so this is a whole new story line! LOVE IT!!

We never actually saw the hound die, so maybe he might come back at some point. I hope so as he was/is my favourite character.
