Front Mech Query

What front mech (mtb bottom pull) to go with 105 STI shifters. I’m guessing a non ds xt type shifter for 9 a speed set will work or can you shim a 105 front mech down to 28mm? Will be for a 32 / 22 set of front rings.

Perhaps things have changed but in my experience MTB front mechs don’t work with STI shifters.

You can use a 105 with a 28.6 tube
Are your 105 10 speed ?

they are – running with a 9speed xt out back on 11/36 cassette

so a 28.6 105 will do the job then??
