Fridge door won't close

Door hasn’t been closing for a few days. It’s not the hinges as both are snapping perfectly. Surely that makes it the seal? All four sides felt/feel magnetised but I remagnetised them anyway (running a N42 11kg pull Neodymium magnet along each side 50 times). Still no joy.

Is there something else I can try?

Fridge is a full height integrated jobby + I’ve located a replacement seal online.

Check all shelves are in place correctly, and nothing is stopping door closing, remove outer cabinet door and then see if door closes holds closed re fix cabinet door, sometimes cabinet door moves and stops door closing.

All shelves correctly aligned and nothing else causing an obstruction. Cabinet door not interfering with it either.

Can a magnetic seal not actually work even if each side still has magnetic force?

the magnet is in the door seal the other side of the fridge is metal, magnetising both sides will make the door repel itself.

Best to call a preist and exorcise the spirit of the magnet out of it

Take everything out, shelves in the door, veg basket the lot.

See if problem is still there.

There’ll be a drain home in the bottom somewhere, make sure it’s clear – it could be air pressure song it closing?

Clearly too much food, leaving no room for beer. Remove food, consume. Replace with beer. Sorted

Does it have an ice compartment/freezer bit? Is that frosted up so that door doesn’t shut properly and its stopping the main door shutting??

A spring broke in one of our integrated fridge door hinges. That stopped it closing, but the other hinge was still trying to pull it closed as normal

We had the same problem once, turned out to be hinges/springs (after trying everything else I could think of).
