fork steerers and cyclocross bikes

Hi all

slightly frustrated at the moment with manufacturers creating beautiful carbon cyclocross disc forks which have tapered steerers!
i have a seven cx bike with a ‘standard’ 1 1/8 headset, why wont manufacturers realise that some of us may want to just upgrade the front of our cx bikes (i run a canti on the back)?

love the look of the new enve fork, but tapered steerer limits my purchase!

anyway just a little thought i wished to share

who knows maybe someone will take this on board
