The first pen shout would have been soft. The second should have been a pen vs what other stuff you see given. And the second (?) West Ham goal shouldn’t have been given due to a blatant foul in the lead up to it which the ref let go.

Feel a bit sorry for Wolves. Those years of over indulgence of dodgy agents buying up half of Portugal seems to be coming back to haunt them now – their team is absolutely dire apart from a couple of players and Gary O’Neill seems like a decent bloke.

What a team West Ham are though… 2-1 up with 10 to go and the stadium empties. The number of empty seats at the end was an absolute embarrassment… players walking around applauding a stadium thats literally almost empty. That said, I’m not surprised there was moaning when 8 minutes of added time went up… I’m not sure I’d have wanted to stay and watch another 8 minutes of that.

The football is dreadful, has been for ages, and supporters are voting with their feet. I’m usually thrilled when we win but couldn’t get excited at all last night. Don’t forget that the new stadium nearly doubled capacity and I suspect that a lot of newer attendees expect better from their exorbitantly priced tickets. Whereas some older supporters have given up all together.

Scraping by the worst team in the league thanks to dubious VAR calls doesn’t really get the pulse racing.

It’s the same at Old Trafford. The Forest game was the first game in living memory that wasn’t sold out. There were thousands of tickets left despite them being on general sale, which never happens. I reached my limit last season and just wasn’t prepared to pay any more good money to watch that shite. Now they’ve bumped the cheapest tickets to £66 a pop, they can **** right off!

What’s the point in saints going balls out for the title of Worst Prem Team In History if people aren’t even going to acknowledge our dedication? Shame on you!

There are many reasons to love Cole Palmer, the main one being his nonchalant and defiantly un-media-coached post-match interviews. In an era where all players just regurgitate the same dull and predictable platitudes. he really did surpass himself on Sunday

“Were you worried when you went two goals behind?”

”No, we weren’t really bothered. It’s Tottenham innit?”

I do feel a bit dirty, liking a Chelsea player, but he’s (unintentional) comedy gold 😀

Reading were winning 1-0 with 9 men right up until the 97th minute. Then Walsall scored. Went to penalties and the Biscuitmen lose 4-2. Pure evil.

I don’t know how true this is but apparently he’s as simple as Baldrick.

On the flip side, what felt like a massive win for Leeds last night. Nice to play a team who actually try and play some open football rather than sitting back for 90 minutes.

Nice to be on the other end of a last minute goal this season and to get another 3 points after dropping 15 from a winning position already. Still, if we can’t beat wolves we have no chance!

Still pretty sure we’ll be going down, but at least we’ve beaten Derby’s record lowest points total. I only caught some pics on Final Score but it looked like it kicked off after the game as well.

If only we could win at home…..

A good set of results for Chelsea today. I doubt anyone had them down as title contenders at the start of the season, but they’ll be 2 points of Liverpool if they win tomorrow.

I believe there’s another game tomorrow between the title holders and a side presently floundering at the bottom end of the table that might have some bearing on proceedings?

Chelsea have a good looking run of fixtures coming up too. And they play the reserves in Europe, they should be nice and fresh.

Pretty impressive point for Liverpool though – 70 minutes with ten men v a good side. Robertson’s not having a great season by his standards.

The result of the weekend has to be Forest moving above City into the top four. Nobody saw that one coming. Bonkers!

Pep definitely saw it coming, hence hurriedly signing a contract extension to give him a bigger payout 🙂

Ideally I’d like to see how Pep does flying to Kazakstan on a Thursday night for a UEFA conference league game 😀

You all seem to forget that City go into turbo mode after Chrimbo.

Absolutely. Caught up with a mate from home when seeing Shed Seven in Brixton this evening and we both agreed that the current bottom three will.likely be the bottom three at the end of the season, and actually we should be ok with that. The last two seasons have given us hope but at the end of the day, I’m just happy to get a season in the prem. Still there’s no harm in hoping…

Indeed. As Fergie always said: the league doesn’t start until January

January is when Liverpool and Arsenal tend to endure a sticky patch. Looks like they’ve both started early this year

Arsenal have looked like they needed a mid-season break since October.  Last game on MOTD told you all you needed to know about what we saw at the Emirates yesterday.

Arsenal seem to have spent all their time training their attackers how to score from corners and not any time on actual shooting practice from open play.

It has all become a bit too choreographed and predictable, so the low block is working.  I know the statistics say that shooting from outside the box is a low yielding way to go about your business but we have reverted to Wenger Ball and trying to walk it into the net.

So the big one is imminent: can TNS get one over Colwyn Bay?

Very much my view. Brighton didn’t exactly help us today though!

And the award for the most embarrassing, pathetic dive of the season goes to…..

    Kyle Walker

Good to see him get carded for it. Shithousery of the highest order

    Caher

Yep, Rivaldo level of shithousery. Gotta get rid of that out of the game. Walker should have walked.

Pep looked shell shocked at full time. 1 win in 11 now, could Pep walk? I don’t think he is at risk of being sacked but think he might walk.

Crazy result! How can such an amazing team fall apart so badly? And that’s from a Liverpool fan – it’s nuts that the Manc derby was between 5th and 13th, let alone for this utd team to beat them at the Etihad!

Didn’t see that coming! What an awful game, not that United will care. I doubt playing like that was the plan, benevolent from City!

For once, Mrs Binners didn’t win her bet. I did though. I don’t give a shit about where we are in the league, only two games really matter… us and Citeh or Liverpool.

I watchrd this in the pub in town and it went mental when the winner went in 😀

There is something not right somewhere at at City.

The players have just had their confidence drained and I’m not sure at the moment Pep knows how to get it back.

It could be worse, we could be Wolves or Southampton.

Only 13 points needed for the magic 40. Perhaps the players have been told that the PL intends to relegate them anyhow this season?

He won’t be sacked but he comes across as the type to make it all about himself and walk. Make a massive deal about it etc. He’s as media hungry as Klopp was.

Was funny though… Hardly a surprise though when you’ve got 34 year old De Bruyne passing to 34 year old Gundogan passing to 34 year old Kyle Walker who was viciously assaulted by Hojlund. In between you have a winger (who isn’t really good enough for Man City anyway) playing right back with some inevitable consequences. Doku approaching defenders and then doing that weird wobbly movement before losing the ball, Haaland barely having a touch because he just lumbers around up front waiting for someone to give it him on a plate and then to try and win something, throw Jack Grealish on, one of the most over rated players the game has ever seen…

Meanwhile Leeds did Leedsey things by struggling to break down a defensive team. That said, they should have been down to 10 for those two challenges by Whiteman. Yellow card and then 4 minutes later goes in studs showing on the edge of the box and gets nothing… Awful refereeing….

Walker should of got a red card. Absolute joke.

Amad is going to be some footballer, he was the best player on the pitch.

Not sure its a red but there should be tougher actions for simulation of any kind – how often do you see a yellow dished out for a player throwing themselves to the floor in the box? And yet it happens every game.

    There’s simulation and simulation.

A tangle of legs in the box is different from feigning violent conduct, by pretending you have just been head butted in order to get a player sent off.

When it comes to ‘guess the country’ the ambiguously named Shamrock Rovers never does too well. Much like I imagine they will tonight. Could be a GAA score.

I don’t think Spurs could be Spursy enough to lose this now. Talk about naive defending? That and nobody up front looks like they could hit a cows arse with a banjo. I’d keep your head down if you’re sat in Row Z…  Hojlands about

OMG what is Forster doing?!! Yes, Binners, Spurs can lose this.
