The Impossible, I was expecting an over the top dramatisation of the tsunami in 2004, Very strong film and didn’t realise it was a true story til after. Very emotional.

I watched “The Debt” last night. Very very good (if you like spy thrillers)

Saw Dredd last week on DVD. Very impressed with it, but very brutal, as commented on earlier here. Wasn’t expecting much TBH, especially after that Stallone shambles but it was a real eye opener. I used to love the Judge Dredd stories in 2000AD and I had it from the first issue for several years.

It has to be the only film I’ve ever wished I’d seen in 3D.

Loved the use of all the T4’s in the opening chase sequence as well.

….Human Centipede; Sat through the whole film thinking this can’t get any more disturbing …..
You obviously haven’t seen the second one then!!

I actually meant the second one, (not even seen the first)! 😳

Apparently he’s also making a third one which is going to “make the 2nd one look like a Disney film” 😮

Despite it being panned by the critics I really enjoyed John Carter, good sort of Star Wars romp.

Will probably get flamed for this but Battleship.

My expectations were very low but actually in a switch your brain off sort of way, it was pretty good.

I thought Argo was really good too.

Biggest ‘wow’ film I’ve seen in ages though was Tyrannosaur. It was cheap in HMV and I saw Paddy Consodines name on the front so I bought it never having heard of it, let alone having any expectations.
Totally blown away. I NEVER cry at films – I was blubbering like a baby.

Crash – what a great film.

The car crash rescue scene is probably my favourite scene out of any film i have ever watched. Very moving stuff.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close – stayed just the right side of twee to make for a very satisfying experience
