He’s been a bit indifferent in the tournament so far, but he was up for it tonight.

i wasn’t really aware that anyone had suggested that roy got much fundamentally wrong from a tactical point of view.

i think you could reasonably question his insistence on picking rooney, young or milner against italy when all three were obviously well short of form.

Most tedious football squad ever. Turned up in the final but bored the pants of everyone in the games before.

If boring = being able to pass amazingly well.
Pure joy to watch every game with their mesmerizing passes and just shear precision and skill.

Cracking team, good Champions from a really enjoyable tournament.
