Good players indeed but not in the same class or skill as Gazza. He had so much natural ability and players like him don’t come along that often. Forgetting all the bad stuff that has hung on to him he’s still been one of our very best ever at International level.

Rooney is playing far far better than Carroll.

good, it would have been an embarrassment against the Germans playing like that.

Half the team didn’t choke, Young was a bit unlucky, should have really hit the target but trying to smack it into the roof of the net was a fair option, Cole’s attempts unfortunately was crap.

And as for big name celeb’s Gerrard was our best player in the tounament.
