My SC house grips are pretty much worn out and I can’t find anywhere that has replacements in stock. What would people suggest that has a similar feel? They’re quite soft and grippy (and hence wear out quickly!) and the other ones I’ve tried I haven’t really liked (Ergon something or other and DMR Deathgrips).

Gusset S2 lock on Extra Soft would be the closest I know of.

Thanks both, I’ll give one of them a try!

I chose Deity Lockjaws when I couldn’t get the SC ones. Really like them. https://www.deitycomponents.com/lockjaw_grips.html

Rental Kevlar grips are soft, grippy and last a long time. As long as you’re ok with the colour

You can buy direct from Santa Cruz as they have a shop on the UK site.

I have them on one bike and Deity on another.  The house grips are a nice compound and slim but due to being slim I fine them just a little harder underneath, so I prefer Deity Lockjaw.

I’m guessing it’s a US site that converts to GBP as they want £32 for shipping! Leaning towards the Lockjaws at the moment…

There’s a new grip in town Raceface Chester lock-ons, not actually like the house grips in looks but the softness is there. Anodised collar options as standard is a nice touch.
