This was due to open for entries in mid January but still no sign of anything happening. Anyone know anything?

They sent out an email last week saying the entries would be out in 7-10 days so should be out really soon.

Didn't send an email to me, even though I'd signed up for updates.... 😥

No email received here either. The site still says mid-January.

I think that the email was sent via the FaceBook group rather than the list maintained on the website

Having done the event before and signed up to the email updates I don't see why only Facebook users get to be kept in the loop.

I think this is a great event that I want to do again. So why can they not do me and all the other people in my position the courtesy of dropping us an email?

So mailing the Facebook group is as useful as a chocolate fireguard in terms of its abilty to reach the majority of the people wanting to do the ride.

Its a great event, sure some of the climbs are very long forest tracks but most of the descents are scary fast on loose slate that can catch people out, many of them almost feel like that cheeky descent only you and your mates know about.
Watching Sim & Matt on a Tandem plunge down one of the fastest descents 2 years ago was great fun 😀
