Any recent experiences? Wheelset i am thinking of buying has 240 EXP rear hub. Otherwise seems ideal

Seen the initial problems but interested in more recent experiences as it looks like they’ve addressed it. past experience ( in general not with Dt) tells me not to immediately trust that!!!

    Brilliant hubs! Wouldn’t hesitate.

I have them on 3 wheel sets and have never had a problem.

My 240 seems good. In theory I have a hub with the early issues (as does a mate). He had problems but got his fixed under warranty and it’s been fine. I got the parts sent to me but stuck them in the spare box just in case and have had no problems.

That said, I’ve just got a One Up hub which was cheaper and has cheaper spares. Dunno how well it’ll last

Had mine in 2021 and it had the disengagement issue, Madison rebuilt it and it’s been fine ever since. Wouldn’t hesitate to spec them on a new wheelset.

The fault only affected one internal part and not the hub itself so once this was switched out they were generally fine.

Quite interested in getting the new DEG hubs with the big 90t ratchets, anyone with any experience with those yet?

Trouble free two and a bit years on my 240exp wheelset on the susser here, same as every other DT hubs I’ve used.

I had the ratchet swapped at the outset on my early 2021 240 rear hub that was part of the recall. It’s been trouble free. Would definitely have another.
