Is there a site/link to a spreadsheet of dropper post dimensions?

I’m looking for a new 34.9mm stealth dropper that will allow me to slam my dropper/seat to the max! Currently have a 150mm Reverb, I’ve removed the Connectamajig, which leaves me about 1.5″/2″ showing. See photo.

bikeyoke revive used to have the lowest stack height. I managed to fit a 160mm revive in place of a 125mm reverb.

Whoa, the 90s called, they want their DH saddles back! You nicked that from an ATX one, right?

I think the OneUp dropper is the answer here 🙂 pretty sure they list specs on their site.

One Up claim to have the shortest stack height of any dropper for their V2  – I’ve got a 170 (V1) on my Medium Following MB with a bit of post still showing.  FWIW I wouldn’t be able to slam it as the frame’s internal hose guide sticks up into the seat tube a bit, so a normal fixed (hollow) post would go in further than a dropper..

I just utterly pissed myself when I saw your photo. Not sure if you’ve done it to make the dropper more obvious or just for a laugh.

Anyway, no idea. But thanks for the photo.

I saw the PNW Bachelor 34.9 170mm post get launched on Pinkbike and as per most usual companies they measure to the post end not the connector depth. I commented on the article asking why and they amended their drawings to show it! Was quite impressed so ordered the post from them, excellent service, quick and easy shipping from USA and a really nice post with lovely smooth action! I always recommend it to anyone looking especially if you are looking for a 34.9. I fitted mine to a large Spesh Enduro frame.

Thanks guys! Revive is on my list, hadn’t heard of PNW Bachelor, it looks really good! 260mm internal rather than 290mm of the Revive! Currently out of stock at the moment. If OneUp did a 34.9 post I would be tempted. I shall wait and suffer with a spongy Reverb that won’t go all the way down, it’s currently 3-4″ higher than I want it to be, which is 2″ more higher than it usually is. At least I can’t get my nuts caught between the saddle and tyre at the moment. Bonus!

Photo was to highlight the issue.. Here’s a photo of a saddle in the loft..

It was fitted because the person said the smaller saddle was chafing!

    Update

I went for the PNW Bachelor, 150mm as I have little legs and wanted to get it lower in the frame. Pleased with my choice. The remote lever feels a lot nicer and easier to use than the Reverb. The up n down action feels smoother too, but I am comparing this with a Reverb that was a couple of years old and never serviced. I really don’t have much to say about the dropper, it works, feels nice..

I am able to get my saddle about 40mm lower now!! I didn’t think I would notice this riding around FOD or AC… I’ve never felt that my saddle was in the way, until doing really steep stuff and then its not really in the way, but I certainly knew it was there.

I cannot believe the difference it has made having the saddle a little lower even at AC or FOD. My bike no longer feels like a big bike under me, it feels like I’ve dropped a frame size! I am able to move around on the bike more, compress more and turn better.

I would definately recommend the PNW Bachelor if you are looking for a 34.9mm Reverb alternative.

They do but I don’t think it’s true- I haven’t done precise measurements but my 185mm Revive fits with 20mm to spare in my Remedy, I tried to fit the 210mm Oneup V2 and it wasn’t even close. I’m reasonably sure it’s about 15mm longer stack, like for like.

OneUp was the only 150 I could get to fit my Trek Fuel due to the kink in the seat tube. Tried a few otheres but not the PNW. Only 125mm from most other companies seemed to fit. Stack height of the OneUp is really small though.

What have they done on the V2 to improve?

For one small frame I was trying to get a dropper in there was a ridge or bend that stopped it going all the way down. I got round it by using a smaller diameter dropper and a shim (27.2 in a 30.9) might help somebody.
