I have a long channel drain across the front of my house, it’s got a galvanised slotted cover on it which it the perfect leaf catcher.

I’d like to swap it for something with square holes in, probably a black plastic one.

Are they a standard size or can anyone help with what to buy please?

I only swept it last night :(

    Cheers

A15 indicates strong enough for foot traffic not vehicles.

That’s fine, I’d hit the house before I got a vehicle on it.

It catches all the ones that would otherwise just blow past it and quite a lot go through the slots. Something with nice small holes would be better, I have to keep lifting them and clearing out the channel.

    Measure whats there already

They wouldn’t be better at getting rid of the water that could otherwise end up in your house!

(The drive looks to be on a slope and I doubt they’ve have put a drain in there if it might not be needed)

… anyway, if you look here:

    Data Sheets

…..they do two types (30 and 70) in both steel and plastic.  Looks like they have the same width so the grating might well be interchangeable.
