You can tell alot about someones personality by the way they are.

OK, but… 1, it’s about heavy use (not recreational use). 2, it’s a very small sample (40 people met the criteria according to the TV report) and 3, they can’t rule out a parallel cause (frinstance depression/withdrawal can lead to a lower IQ score, and is also well linked to drug use). Oh and 4, of course, IQ is a ropey guide to actual intelligence.

I wonder what sort of figures you get if you take someone who drinks heavily from their teens to their late 30s?

I just got sick of watching life pass me by even though I enjoyed it, fact is everyone is different but it was that reason that made me quit a 15 year habit

ive never tried dope (or any other illegal substances)
but, in answer to the OP i dont think so.
i will say there are some incredibly stupid people who smoke dope, just as there are some incredibly stupid people who choose not to.
a **** is a ****, regardless of whether they smoke dope (or drink heavily every day etc) or not.

i dont know about the wacky backy but the acid defo wrecked my short term memory!

From personal experience I think it does affect your short term memory.

However, I do remember one night when we ordered 3 take always – ate one,ordered another and so on!

Also once cooked a whole chicken and put it in a sandwich. That was a heavy night!
