  • Deathgrip 2 – Streaming now!
  • Just an FYI, Brendog’s Deathgrip 2 is available here: Apple TV, Amazon, Google, Microsoft streaming services.

    It’s an absolute cracker.

I’m sure it’s great but I’m fed up with the endless advertising for it tbh.

I haven’t seen any advertising for it, in fact the first I knew about it was when I logged onto itunes earlier to see if there are any films I fancied watching tonight and found it was number 1 in the movie charts.

Looking at the trailer, I don’t fancy it, looks like they try to “enhance” the action by lots of film cuts, jumps and angles that don’t allow the viewer to just focus on the riding action.

I bought it last night, but haven’t had time to watch it. The first was a great film and I’m happy to take a punt on BrenDog as he’s a rider I like to support.

I have a conscious conundrum with this, I know it’ll be good, I know I’ll enjoy it, I know it’ll have taken Brendan and whole crew of people to make. But… We have so much free MTB media presented to us I don’t think the £4.99(rent)or£9.99(buy) will be worth it. Also 20 years ago I’d happily have spent ten or twenty quid on a MTB dvd and watch and rewatch it, so comparatively it’s cheap. But it also seems like that value for money has been almost removed by combo of lots of accessible media and the almost guaranteed fact it’ll be free to watch somewhere in a year or so (Disney is the worst for this).

If I get an Amazon gift card for Christmas I may use it though.

It was £3.49 to rent for 48 hours when i watched it last night. It’s very good. If you’re old and modern editing styles upset you, maybe not one to watch 😉

Just bought it, watched it twice back to back. Loved it, smiled the whole way through. That might be the co codemol I’m on for busted ribs/elbow, or it might be that I need to grow up. Thoroughly enjoyed it though, worth a tenner.

I’m going to rent it tonight or tomorrow. Brendog seems like a really sound guy (and a riding legend!) so I’m very happy to support him
