how long does it take you?

2h 35mins on my Alpine 160 (Van 36s and DHX coil)

The other day there was a thread about the best bike, as there arent really any climbs i didnt really feel at too much of a disadvantage on a 6inch plus bike.

I did it in 2hours 15 minuteson a 30lb Giant Reign. Bottom car park to Bottom carpark. Once. Havent got too close since, I think I need to be on my own to go that fast again.

i was on my own, if id of done it with mates it wouldn’t of been anything like as fast! My time was bottom car park to bottom car park, the Alpine 160 is 34lbs on the dot.

2:20 for me yesterday, on my own with NO stops so taking it pretty steady. All 24 miles or whatever without stopping.

And thats with the bombholes closed halfway through so you have to take a longer route on the fire-road AND I took some sections of the old red from the visitor centre to the quarry but all in it probably evens out or is actually slightly longer!

Bike: Blur 4X with Fox 36s and super tacky tyres which aren’t half draggy on those fire-road sections!
