Got a ex-demo soul frame last week from 18bikes (ace service btw). Its fantastic, but there is a very slight problem: I’ve got high rollers (2.35 single ply), and the front mech ever so slightly rubs the tyre in granny ring. If I move the mech away anymore, it wont shift properly anymore, so what’s the best solution:

    1.Get a smaller tyre
2.Put extra spacer in HT2 chainset to move it outwards a bit (73mm shell, will this work?)
    3.Dont use granny ring
    4.something else?

I had this problem on my Soul and turned out to be a missing spacer – what BB is it?

HT2, I followed the instructions for a 73mm shell (can’t remember now, but think it was one on drive side and non on the other side).

I’d double check – I had an Acros one fitted and adding a spacer worked a treat.
