Isn’t that what they always say?

Then afterwards a journalist puts in a freedom of information request and it turns out it actually cost £X million

‘Open Bar ‘in Glasgow paid for by the Australians surely you would take advantage of that?

Does anyone actually care about some hopelessly outdated and irrelevant, post-colonial sports day?

The athletes sure do. If you can’t make it to the Olympics this is seen as an alternative

But I agree that noone that isn’t competing probably cares in the slightest. I certainly don’t.

With the passing of Queenie the whole commonwealth seems to have run it’s course, maybe time to finally move on. The games are a small part something much larger that is no longer relevant.
