Which Coast to which Coast. How far North/South/East/West?

Assuming your doing the southern lakes route, my advise would be avoid Rosset Gill if you dont like crashing,a lot! 😉

Best go North at Black sail Hut and into Buttermere, anything else on the route is pretty straight forward, you just need the weather on your side really.

    enjoy 😀

I did it last year over the MM weekend. Worst decision I have ever made.
    Weather was atrocious, gales,cold etc.
Second day took about 10 hours, me thumbs were that cold I had to use my palms to change gear. A bit of hypothermia me thinks.
    NEVER AGAIN.

We did it in three days 2 summers ago. 8 h on d 1, 14 h on d 2, and 12 h on d 3. We were lucky to have a support driver though to ensure that we could change plans as needed. I’m sure Tankslapper will be along shortly to also recommend it! Just don’t stay in Boggle Hole!
