Classifieds or eBay for the best bargains?

My company just announced they are moving offices so as opposed to a 1.5 mile round trip its now going to be 8 miles!

My thoughts immediatly turned to building a hack bike as cheaply as possible so where am I likely to get the best bargains?

gumtree, for hack bikes theres nowhere cheeper than gumfree/free-add papers etc.

buy my 96 marin eldridge off me,,needs a little TLC but would be great for a hack/commute.You can have it for £60 😀

Post a wanted ad. I’ve got loads of bits in spares bin that I wouldn’t bother trying to sell but someone wanted them I’d let them go. I’m sure a lot of people are the same.
