but it does depend on the cheese. Grapes work well with softer cheeses

I'm all about the a sweet'n'tangy tomato chutney with a couple of wafers. Massive glass of red wine. I needn't eat a main meal.

Cheese doesn't need brightening up – good cheese is like sunshine in a sunflower meadow, lit up by all of the stars in all of the universe.

Red wine and cheese adds all of the lightbulbs ever, including car ones and the type that you get that are really bright.

Cheese and Port – Stephen Hawkins appears, holding a DX Extreme bike light. THAT bright.

    I like cheese…

Proper cheese can be savoured with water biscuits to provide a contrasting texture, and needs not these pretentious condiments!

Quince jam, or some sort of stewed fruit compote if it's about. Don't want anything too sweet if it's a delicate cheese tho.

Any kind of pickle or chutney tho my fav is Spicy onion chutney. And rough biscuits like those coarse oatcakes. Various fruit have a nice cut though effect, berries madarin segments and any kind of grape. A glass of wine is also a great accompanyment.
