Twenty five quid for a hammer. I know that precision tools can be expensive, and nice tools are nice, but come on, it’s a hammer.

(This is a dig at Park, BTW, not STW Towers)

Liking the look of those Endura ‘skate’ shoes, but Endura sizing is always so hit and miss…

Blacks link for the grips is broken. And UK delivery only, annoyingly

Was looking at the grips as well but delivery cost on top. Might buy 3 pairs and get 15% off 🤔

Are those grips any good for carpal tunnel sufferers?

I recently bought the Endura MT500 Burner spd shoes and size was true to my usual UK 12

£500 for a pair of pedals does not seem that cheap to me!

    One pedal!

edit – actually, it is a pair, but only one is a power meter. It’s 800 notes for a proper pair.

That Merlin workstand looks almost identical to my £45 Halfords one, except the Nob is a different colour

implying its £100 for the dumb pedal on the single power meter pair. So £100 for essentially a copy of a single shimano M520, which are £30 for a pair.

Hmmm.. While I acknowledge that many of the items highlighted in this areticle are heavily discounted, i wouldnt consider many of them to be genuinely “cheap”. A wonder round your locla decathlon, or a browse of amazon/ebay will reveal a range of perfectrly functional alternatives for substantially less money. Particulaly the Grips, Trailer and Lights.

The helmets seem particulalry good value, and the dropper is cheap for a dropper, I’ll grant you.

Maybe the article should be remnames “discount tuesdays” insteead?

Absolutely! The saving on the Giro lid, however, will need to be spent on a Halo headband to stop the rivers of sweat pouring into your eyes. If its anything like the non-MIPS version that is!! 😂

I used to love our Burley Bee trailer. The only problem was my twins would spend the whole time fighting and we never got anywhere because I kept having to stop to break it up (or go back and find whatever they’d thrown out of it). Now they’re 4 they can pedal their own bikes. Lol
