There is a lot of good riding on this map for £7. Covers Glencoe to Spean Bridge and all other exciting bits.

Sorry to push Apple products again but…

Granny Smith. Massive bag of them for two quid. Keep me going for desk snacks all week and are way better for me than scoffing Snickers and crisps.

I see your single OS map, and raise it to £20 for a years sub to OS Getamap. Except it cost nothing apart from some supermarket-spy-on-your-shopping-points.

Just got it, so hopefully will be able to create the next 10years worth of riding maps this year.

you didn’t get the memo? Marathon Bars are called ‘Snickers’ now too. I won’t tell you about Opel Fruits until you’ve had a chance to sit down and compose yourself.

Fish and chips is cheap? Not where I live (a land-locked country in the middle of Europe)

This is Mills Observatory. It’s an open to the public, free to enter observatory. A council run observatory. Brilliant.

This is the confluence of the rivers Ericht and Isla. I have a fly fishing license that allows me to fly fish on 6 miles of the Isla’s banks. It costs £20 a year, which is exceptional, and just as well seeing as I’m such a rubbish fisherman.

And this, given how much the licence costs

oh, and this, £19 return on the train, anywhere in Scotland

Oh. I can get a train or bus anywhere in the country for half a day for 2 euros. Even if that’s multiple trips in that half day
