Anyone used centre lock adaptors to convert to 6 bolt IS mount. I’m not sure how they fit.

They basically just slide onto the splined brake disc mount with the same fitting as a shimano splined rotor. They either have a cassette style lock ring (dt swiss, shimano)that you tighten round the axle just as you would a cassette or some styles have an allen bolt you tighten to clamp the adaptor together onto the splined axle bit. I ran two centre lock wheels with DT swiss adaptors for 18 months without any problems.

I use the DT Swiss ones too, on Magura Louises.

Not had any probs. They’re dead easy to fit – one half has 6 little lugs that fit into the bolt holes, the other half is the lockring that screws onto the hub. Just tighten them up with a cassette lockring tool. I think they look rather smart too.

Seeing as those adaptors are so expensive is it not a better idea to sell the 6 bolt rotors and get proper centrelock ones – see a few on Ebay at a good price.
