Carnac glasses from PlanetX?

Anyone use Carnac glasses?

I bought some Razzle glasses with HD rose tint recently, they are pretty nice tint and very similar to the Oakley Prizm Trails I lost on top of a Scottish mountain two weeks ago.

Got some of the white sporty ones with the three lenses.

Lenses have stood up well and comfy

Frame finish is poor – flaked off pdq.

What you expect for 12 quid I guess. Better than safety glasses though – very little distortion like you get with high curvature safety glasses.

Check out dewalt iridium safety glasses £8 from screwfix.
Big lenses give good peripheral (road and Mtb)
Not much distort.
Arms give good grip which limits movement when it gets rough.
Close fitting and not vented so can steam a bit in certain atmospherics but I can cope with that.

I have a pair with multiple lenses. Have the red iridium type thing in most of time. The coating on the lens scratches easily, but for the money they are great.

I have some of those, both smoke leneses and clear. Good value for money. But they won’t stay put. Keep sliding around all over the place. A good budget option, especially if you are likely to lose or damage your glasses regularly. And they do seem to scratch very easily.

I put up with them for a year then saw some genuine Oakley Jawbreakers for sale at £80 s/h. There’s a world of difference. Not sure they are worth £140+, but for what I paid they are superb.
