    Hi,
Going to Cannock tomorrow for a ride, thinking of trying the downhill bit my mate did it a few years back and said it wasnt any good.
Has it improved any? or can anyone suggest a cheeky descent or 2 near by?
    Thanks

We enjoyed a morning of DH before crimbo then did FtD after. We arnt exactly hardcore DH types but it was good fun.

We’ve made a fair amount of changes and improvements during 2008, there are now around 13 main runs / offshoots plus other bits thereabouts. We’re still workign on the signage but it’s still easy to follow.

Please don’t jey your way down the trail though as it A. infuriates the DH lads (who to be fair the hill is developed for) and B. tends to knacker the trail.

There are a few sizeable drops so it’s a good idea to take your first runs steady (bearing in mind my earlier comment).

    Enjoy.

Sorry to be a bit of a ‘village’ but whats ‘jey your way’ mean?
I see theres red runs for intermediates so I should be ok?

Ifyou can ride confidently down a red XC trail and OK on 2 foot drops youll be OK. There is bigger stuff (much bigger) but you dont have to ride it.

I like riding the bits round Wonderland, Litle Bringewood/ Balboa, more like techish downhill singletrack than a proper DH track.
Have a look here, ride it all and you’ll be pooped.

I do the Black stuff on all the trail centres, did them from the first day out on the old Carerra I had!
The techish downhill singletrack sounds good, I shall check it out, thanks for your help.
