    If so, how?
Stone is currently untreated, but I have some sealer to go on. Don’t want to apply it tho if there is some special stuff to change the shade of your limestone hearth.

We bought a piece of marble for a hearth, my OH wanted slate but the stonemason recommended not as it would mark too easily.

Firstly I used an abrasive pad to take the shine off it and then he dyed it – not sure what with, but it’s been on 4 years now and not changed colour etc.

Lithofin colour intensifier first, two coats then sealer. Allow to dry fully between coats.

, I’d bought LTP colour intensifier and stain block before seeing your post, but I expect it’s similar results
