    **** me.

The guy already plays for PSG, and ITV commentator says now the big boys will be looking at him.

Why do you hate football, ITV?

Sporting ignorance is what it is Jamie. Lawrenson is world class at it, if you don’t play in England, he hasn’t a clue who you are. Knobend.

He’s right: Despite all their recent financial good fortune, they aren’t exactly up there with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In relation to history/stuff won, no. PSG not as big, but in relation to having the money to have such a player, then no. I doubt either Real or Barcelona can offer James R. more than PSG can.

    Yes, ro5ey, given that’s number 5.

On a side note, that’s all my bed knackered.

    Edit: Bet, even.

With the financial fair play regulations now in, I suspect they can offer more than PSG as their revenue is likely to be significantly higher. Anyway, I suspect the commentator was speaking with regard to club reputation, rather than financial power, as most football fans would.

    I guess we’ll never know.

Also, PSG have already demonstrated they don’t give a sausage about FFP, with their signing of Sideshow Bob.

Has poyet been sacked by ITV for staging another dirty protest? Hopefully it was in Chiles’ dressing room.

PSG are like Chelsea i.e. “nouveau riche”, meaning all money and no class

Looks like Gaston Ramirez’s having one of his off days since coming on. Look out for his party trick of dribbling towards the defence, but forgetting to take the ball with him (I like the lad, he shows flashes of genius occasionally, but when he’s bad…)

If only Uruguay had a world class striker.

Any one remember that old football arcade game where you had a roller ball rather that a joystick?

I just had a flash back seeing Uruguay running around with their light blue shirts and black short… they used to be a country you had to beat in that game

    Anyway, as you were. 🙂

Columbia has scored two goals easily so hopefully they will do the same with Brazil.

Cummon Columbia you can beat Brazil!

…. and yes, he is a Monaco player, who are definitely not one of the “big” clubs.

I would just like to apologise for drunkenly putting James Rodríguez in the PSG squad, last night. Of course he is AS Monaco.

…although, they are a similar new (as in loads of) money club, who could keep him purely through financial clout, but as per Mickey, he probably would prefer to win stuff.

Anyway. My slice of humble pukka pie out the way.

    Netherlands – Mehico: 3-2
    Greece – Costa Rica: 4-0

….and now to start drinking again 8)

Are you not getting bored with all this drinking beer while watching football?

No, I’m not either. Watching this one in the pub, as United fans, we seem to have collectively adopted Holland. HUP! 😀

WTF is going on at ITV? Glenn Hoddle looks like an extra from Miami Vice! And Adrian chiles looks like Terry Scott in carry on Camping! 😯

Good job the Dutch play better than they can sing. The Mx anthem was quite a carry on version too. Should be better footie though.

    Cummon Holland!

They are playing in a rather hot day by the look of their shadows. 😯

It will affect some of them like heat stroke if not careful even when they are physically fit.

45 mins running around in the sun? Do me a favour! Lots of hydration at half time and full time, should keep them well.

Think holland must be a bit desparate to be picking Kuyt. All graft and no guile.

Cooling breaks are a bad idea as it means it’s more of Adrian Chiles.

How long before there’s an advert in that break?

I think Waddle called it, in saying this is just the start of something insidious.

    Also, half empty stadium? Wah?

In World Cup history, has there ever been an incidence of the cameraman picking out a fat bird in the crowd?
