The last ones I have purchased are from M&S & I’ve had them since April this year & my toes are beginning to poke through now.
Or is that a good sock life & I’m expecting too much?
Depends on your toes and your shoes really – do your toes wear holes in all your socks?
For a time, post covid, pretty much all socks were bad I seem to remember a stat that whatever brand more than 90% of the worlds socks are all made in the same city, and whether it was bad cotton harvests, of lockdown related labour issues I can’t remember, but whatever your go-to sock of yore you either couldn’t get them or they were worse than your remembered.
I presume things are back to normal now. I always bought Pringle in the past becuase they seemed to be everlasting for me and held off replacing them becuase there were reviews suggesting a big drop in quality/longevity – and actually they just werent on the shelves anyway. But when they did reappear (boxes of 4 pairs in costco are there same piece as packs of three elsewhere to seem to be back to how they should be.
So your M&S socks might be better now. But if you always wear the toes out get your toes fixed or buy some shoes that fit 🙂
