9 speed XTR came out in 1999, so it's a fair assumption that the cassette at least is older!

I'd have said they were closer to 1996. I still know two people using ti Mojos from the same era regularly!

quick search on ibis says the first prototype was made in 1996 and went into prodution in 1997 so clearly older than the seller states but he also says its an 8spd cassette and a 9spd gripshift so might send him a quick message just to clear a few things up.

It say it has SRAM 9.0 shifters, not 9 speed shifters.

it'll be different that's for sure, though all rider reports I've ride say that it's actually quite nice to ride…

Lots of gorgeous bits but the sum of the parts doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.
