Bike storage in narrow corridor – help me find something posted before on STW…

Well bugger me if I can find the thread now, but I remember reading a topic with pics of various bike storage solutions. One rack in particular was ideal for storing bikes above head height in narrow corridors, etc. It held the bikes at an angle, bottom of wheels against the wall, top part of bike held by some sort of clamp (holding the pedal IIRC). It looked better than a simple wall-mounted rack like THIS as it tucked the wheels in against the wall rather than them dangling straight down.

Does anyone remember or know what racks these are?

Mountain Ledge Storage Bracket

I *think* that’s what I’d seen in use: they hold the bike by the pedal/crank, with the weight supported partly by the bottom of the tyres against the wall. They’ll need a pretty secure way to fit to the wall if I decide to try them as I’ll be hanging them above my car 😯

Has anyone tried the Mountain Ledge brackets? And if so, photos?

tandaylor – funnily enough I came across those during my searching too, very nice but OTT for what I’m after!

I was searching for those in UK too. In the end I got them from my friend in Europe. I still haven’t learned how to post pictures here so YGM with pictures. Regards P
