So the wife came home very late last night looking a little worse for wear. About 10 minutes after going to be she bolted up and made a substantial telephone call to Ralph on the big white telephone.
This morning I have left her to sleep it off while doing baby duties and then later on I am going to tackle the garden.

My bike riding brownie points bank balance has never looked so healthy 😀

How about just telling them you have a ride planned. Works gor me, yeah tricky with kids but still works out.

Am I the only one that finds it a bit sad that you need points to go riding? It annoys my wife no end 🙂 As not all (wifes/partners) delete as appropriate are like that.

Anyway we are just off to Fort William to have a mooch around on foot as part of our bike rest week after last weeks adventures to Kielder and then an all day bike ride around a couple of the Stanes on Monday linked together by a bit of natural and road, and no points needed 🙂

I don't – i ride when i want to but its always nice to know you have done your bit and more so it feels like you deserve it more 🙂

My Missus said when we had the baby – you can ride when you want to – so i do!

Drac – as she is at home all week and i am at work – its only fair we break the weekend up so i get a day and so does she. If i do it slyly i get 2 rides 🙂

I find the concepts of Brownie Points and Facebook equally pointless and depressing. I think I might be morphing in to Simonfbarnes. I'm only short of quoting everybody I respond to in italics and it will all be over.

Clearly Geewave your kidding yourself. Your needing to do chores to get some extra in. You either rid or don't there is no need to have to do a job in order to ride.

Do I win the "best wife competition"? Mine say things like, "why don't you go and ride one of your bikes?" Or you haven't bought anything new for a bike in ages, whats wrong?". I can only assume she's having an affair?

Well I rode with my SO tuesday after work. Thursday during lunch time and yesterday after work (albeit a very short one due ot her OTBing in a marvellous way).
We've just back from a cycle along the sea front to coffee in Cannes…

    Do I won anything?

Well Gee I work shifts so spend a lot of time looking after my kids, then I work all weekend or all night and may not see them all the weekend and only see my wife for a hour or sometimes just in passing. However, I still try to get a ride in if I can and don't need to ask for permission to ride or do favours. I may not ride for a week or 2 maybe more but never have to ask to do it or schedule a slot.

Juan your not married so have no leash so you win **** all.

No just trying to understand why some people feel the need to do a job so they can ride.
