I think this these might be the things I need?

Last couple of rides I’ve done have been with a very cold wind and my trackster type tights end up falling down a bit at the back and my jersey and windproof riding up exposing my back, not so nice with an icy tail wind! So figured what I could do with is bib tights, something that will keep my lower back covered, yes?

    Got something to recommend?

Don’t need thermal/insulated/fleece type just something that covers the back better, not bothered about the front – speaking of the front, what do you do when you need a mid ride p ?

What’s cheap, does the job, and tell me about sizing – do these come up small?

    Or, anything else to recommend?

    Cheers. K

Allways wear them for winter riding. I use Endura`s but there are many other good ones out there.
As for needing a pee, all you need to do is lean over and pull the slack (from the bit where the bibs meet the main body) and pull them far enough to do the job….

    Thanks, DHB one’s look good.

Decathlon one’s would be great specially as they are knocking them out at £1 in my local store – unfortunately that local store is a 150 mile round trip !! Shame they don’t post.

Seen some Polaris one’s going cheap (£22) so may get those?

I have some DHB and they are good, but the zips keep coming undone on the ankle. I’m going to have to break out the sowing kit and put a velcro tab on there… like my marzocchi ones have.

They don’t post, you have to go to the shop.

Thing is I just checked stock and they come up as ‘unavailable’ so maybe they have them in other stores around the UK … if anyone finds any please get me a pair in large and post them to me ??

…and pull a pair of tights on over the top. That way I can wear my thermal tights if it’s really cold or my normal ones if it’s a few degrees warmer.

Rather expensive I must admit but I’ve two pairs and they are the most comfortable items of cycle clothing I have ever owned.

The DHB Earnley’s irritate my crotch a little bit. Seems like there’s a rough bit on the pad right on my “stink bridge”.

Nothing a bit of chamois cream wouldn’t solve though.

dhb merstons are good but what deadlyhifi said about the ankle zip is true, its a naff zip. I just leave mine 3/4 zipped up and be a bit careful putting my feet in.
