Orange p7! By far the best, theres a nice one on ebay now wi brand new forks on and neon orange bits, looks the nuts! Maybe he might want more than £400 for it tho! 🙂

Are Orange niche enough? Im not so sure!

Forogt to mention if I get a frame I will ‘rob’ all the Crushes bits of of it. Meaning it must take 140mm forks and 26” wheels

Cotic Soul if you can stretch your budget a little, Bfe if you can’t.

If you’re worried about nicheness then an Orange is the last bike you’d want to get surely?

Not sure if it counts a “niche” but I have an 08 Rocky Mountain Blizzard frame that i’m thinking of changing if you’re interested?

Edit: Just read about your forks… it’ll do 120mm before it gets daft.

Are Cotic really niche anymore? Im not sure. What rules must a brand adhere to reach acheive the niche tag from the singletrack forum heirachy?

I got a 2010 p7 frame for cheap last year. never looked back. don’t let those weight weenies convince you not to buy it ‘cos it weighs loads’ as it makes not one iota difference to how it rides – it rides beautifully. though I would say that as I own one but it does!

ns bikes (probably a surge, but I think they do a more xc-oriented frame as well). Pretty niche on the trails

Another vote for the Genesis Latitude, 853, has the new XX44 head tube so it will take a tapered steerer and also 2 x 10 or 3 x 10 compatible which some other steel frames won’t.
