Camper ones are good but are a bit pricey (nowhere near a £100 mind). I have found Uniqlo ones are similar and are a fraction of the price so would recommend them.
That may distract you from your cold feet for a while, but you’ll still want some slippers for when you sneak off afterwards to give the old chap a rinse in a beaker.

Seriously? My mind is starting to dissolve at the very concept of that. What kind of sick twisted pervert would even think of producing such a thing? 😯
Camper Wabi. I have some. Paid about £30 for mine (new ones are £50 full price). First pair of slippers I’ve owned since I was at prep schoool… *drifts off into reverie of Tom Brown’s schooldays*
Malvern Rider is your man the STW style guru no less. He will sort you out with some pimp slippers, matching gold thong and nipple tassel set for the ladies.

My Eccos are great, my Mahabis were shit. Heel support that doesn’t support the heel, detachable soles that come off easily, and a felt material that looks tatty fast.
Surely STW has someone who can make a durable nubuck sheepskin lined slipper for < £50 – it would be a winner on the quarterly ‘what slippers’ thread and the ‘what did you last make’ one.
Clarks sheepskin nubuck ones were ok but needed running repairs to reglue the sole after a year or so. M&S next on list but not optimistic.
Sheepskin crocs are so Land Rover man it’s unreal!
Ugg, got some last christmas, very nice (this post means I am now, officially, a sad old man)
Ugg slippers are really good. Nothing like the boots
This.
Really very very nice. I bought Mrs PP some Uggs a couple of years ago and they’re still basically brand new. She bought me some OF THESE this year. Too warm for summer though. I love the boots too, I’ve got some leather ones that are 4-5 years old and have been worn to death in the winter (And for commuting on the scooter too) and I see no reason they won’t last 10 years. Expensive, yes, but that’ll boil down to under £25/year, so the value is in the longevity…. Like a Chris King headset… 🙂
I hate slippers, they’re just not slippy enough. Instead I wear wool blend cricket socks at about a fiver a pair. I can do epic skids in them right across our living room floor. I am 46, BTW.
“marriage is a fancy word for adopting a male child that has grown too big for his actual parents to look after any longer”
Current wifes Uggs are not even a year old and although in one piece are pretty worn out. She wants another pair and I am still reeling from the cost from last year.
From my perception on slippers, both M&S and Next are crap. Last 3 months on me. Bought furry crocs and although never fell apart, after 6 months of visible static shocking the family and pets, felt they were not brilliant, although running a copper wire under the heal to the sole, did help. It was too dangerous to turn lights on of the tv. I am wearing leather moccasins off fleabay at £15 ish a pair and want a new pair for Xmas , as a year old now.
I’m a big slipper fan, most only last a few months before they stink to high heaven (I wear them bear feet) but I bought a pair of these THESE in June
And they have been great, they still smell of leather, a minor miracle (second bible reference), I see they now do a fleece lined version so I might put it on the Xmas list (third reference), I believe they are a gift from above at the price (fourth… 😉
I’ve got some Homeys[/url] that are easily 10 years old and still going strong, not smelly or anything, comfy, have proper soles for going outside with the bin bag or whatever. The wife kept nicking them and eventually bought her own which was AAAAAA I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M TALKING ABOUT WHAT SLIPPERS ARE THE BEST OH GOD KILL ME NOW
