I exclusivel drove motorbikes until age 40. The only car I’ve owned is a Ford Focus bought new 18 yrs ago for €18k. Still have it and it’s still going well having never had any significant issues. Guess it’s definately qualifies as a banger at this stage but at an average cost of 1k per year (and dropping with every extra year it keeps going) it’s been relatively cheap.
