If my galaxy 4 ever dies I’d like to be prepared.
I like phones where you can take the battery out and stick a nice big fat battery in.
It needs to take a 128 chip have an internal 32 memory and if it has a dedicated camera button even better.

If you like big screens, I’ve just bought a LG V10 for my lad 5.7 screen with a 2.1 screen on top for notifications for £155 delivered from the bay of E.

64gb, unlocked, takes 128gb and has replaceable batteries.

Dual SIM is available for a tenner or so more.

Fail that smaller would be something like a G4 from the same place. Again decent specs, replaceable battery etc.

I think after that the G5 can’t have the battery swapped..

    V10 does look .
Not sure if dual sim is a benefit but will investigate.

G5 can definitely have battery swapoed. Wether you get a bigger battery no idea.

I use mine on site in thick glove.

Flick the phone and the camera starts. volume button for shutter. Excellent design!

OnePlus cannot be battery extended BUT the dash charge is so damn quick it may not matter.

No microSD slot (although you can get 64/128Gb versions) but double click of the power button starts the camera immediately and they have two sim slots.

I have a huge Anker battery pack/test car for the S4.can’t but then anyone I don’t think.

I bought it when I went travelling and recharging might be an issue sometimes.

    Any use to you?

I prefer to fit a bigger battery. I’m on my phone all day and if something goes tits up it’s always in the evening so I need a phone that lasts forever.
Those battery packs are always somewhere else when you need them.

No, this one *replaces the battery and the back*… Making a very fat mobile but with a massive battery life. 🙂

Most phones these days have the highest capacity battery they can. If you try to push further, you get the Note 7.

If you are always on it, quick charging and battery packs are the way to go (just make a habit of taking it with you). I do suggest getting one with a user replaceable battery and not a sealed phone as you will wear it out quicker.

You can always buy two batteries and some chargers will charge a battery plus a phone.

I’ve got a fat pack on my s4 already , thanks.
Just seeing what the most up to date phone is that I can extend.
    The LGs look good.

You can’t change the battery, but the Lenovo p2 has got a 5100mAh battery that lasts ages.
I get 3 days easy out of mine; occasionally 4.

You might struggle to get one since Three stopped selling them. Last time I looked they were available on Amazon and other places for around £300.

Took mine off charge two days ago and it’s currently on 43%…

In general, the mobile phone industry wants you to buy new phones every 18 to 24 months so they come with small non removable batteries.

There are exceptions but that’s the general game plan.

I really like my g4 and having an emergency spare battery is handy. BUT its been repaired 3 times now for mainboard failure. 2x bootloop, 1x screen glitch rainbow snow. 2 under warranty, 1 as their fixed cost repair.
Same problem across a few other lgs.
V30 and g6 are reporting less faults but USA users tried a class action suit against lg because of how widespread the problem was/is

Even so, as a sucker for punishment, I’ll probably get a v30 or g6 next as i like lgs android skin more than samsung and they are much cheaper.

On my phone to take a picture all I have to do is say SHOOT. This is great in bright sun when you can’t see where the button is on the screen.
    Can lgs do that?
