ex newbie loggin in again for the first time in about 5 years. Bit of a financial and emotional break away from the sport but made the decision to get back into it again.
Just bought a Trek ex8 (`08) as an ex demo and out for the first ride out on Thursday night, which sould be a laugh if nothing else. 😛
So my question is, having been out of touch for sooo long, where are the best/cheapest/ most reliable places to buy kit on the tinterweb?
ie. lights, tyres, riding kit etc.
I did keep alot of gear but due to my lack of anything physical in the last few years, I have developed what can only be described as the physique of a true american salad dodger! (compared to my waife like svelt racing snake figure of days gone by. 😯
any suggestion on a light too? last one was a Stadium but sold that one here a good while ago. Was initially hoping to get something with at least 3 hour burn, good enough to light singletrack way up in the hills for under £100 if possible. 😕
