Any Seat Leon Mk II owners ? What bike carrier ?

Are there any Seat Leon MK II owners on here ?

I’ve got a 57 plate FR TFSi – I’m not going to fork out for a detachable tow bar (although I know they are the best way to carry bikes) so that leaves me with either a set of roof bars (increased mpg + effects performance) or a rear mounted rack – danger of scratching car 🙁

Anyone found anything that works well ?

Ive got a Mk2 Leon Cupra, I just cannot bring myself to fiiting a roof rack or towbar. I just had a big sheet in the boot with the back seat down and wheels off the bikes. 🙁

got a catalogue for a thule roof rack somewhere that somebody was saying was good.

never likes rear hatch racks myself. As per above I put the seats down and chuck it in the back.

or use my golf estate…

trouble is I can’t get 2 bikes, 1 dog, 3 people and luggage for a week away in the back !

tried a Thule clip on 9105 on a hire car (astra) but it scratched it 🙁
