I’ve got a bit of a poser with regard to my knees.

I get intermittent problems with both knees but what seems good for one is bad for the other and visa versa.

If I lower my seat slightly my right knee is fine but the left clicks very audibly and eventually gets painful. If I raise it up slightly it solves the problems with the left knee but the right gets a lot of pain at the bottom of the patella.

Likewise my left knee prefers clip pedals (Crank Bros so lots of float) but my right knee seems to prefer flats.

Why can’t they both be the same? 🙄

sounds like you need a proper bike fit and maybe a built up shoe/insert on one side.

you could also get a pair of 5.10 minnaar’s and run clipped one side and flat the other?

Where would I go for that?

The strange thing is it’s not been a problem in the past. It just started in the last few months and I can’t think of anything that’s changed in that time.
