Anyone else not get on with these bars? I find my hands feel like they’re about to drop off the short horizontal sections, and very unsurportive on the ‘heel!’ of my hands.
Has anyone got any usefull comments before I buy some ‘classic’ bend bars.

    Well,

(NB – I am barely a cyclist, let alone a seasoned roadie):

they look like the bulge in the “bendy bit” is intended to fit your palm properly (is that why “ergonomic”?)

For me to ride with my hands on that bit I’ve a feeling that I’d need to rotate the bars down a bit compared to yer classic style

so, err, maybe try that ?

Tried that so the bar ends were paralel with the road, but that put everything else out of whack.
Looked through a few Cycling Weekly’s and it looks like a fair few riders use a more classic bend.
And looking at my bike I do have the drops low i.e the bar ends are on a level with the fork crown. So perhaps if I had a higher riding position I’d be more comfortable in the ‘pistol grip’ section of anatomical bars.

I have a set of “normal” bars I took off my Cayo if you’re after some.

Cheers Druidh but I think I’d better visit a good stockist, I’ve already got a substantial road bar collection because of this problem .
