27mm seat tube – 26.8mm seatpost?

my seat tube hole is 27mm, so is a 26.8mm seatpost ok or do i go for 26.4mm
option?

You go for a 27.0 presuming that is what you meant.

well im not sure, the actual inside of the tube measure 27mm,

so i need a tube smaller than 27mm, just wondering if 26.4mm is too small

The size will be on the existing seatpost. Replace with like. If you don’t have one then go to a shop and get it measured or try a few.

They are in 0.2mm increments for a reason.

What frame is it? A lot of bike manufacturers publish seatpost sizes on their websites, especially it was available frame only
