I’d add that something like muc-off post clean spray helps stop.mud from sticking and cleaning afterwards is easier.

Also cable run is much worse in the winter, so good time to replace any of those worn thru frame guard stickers

I’d never tried that muc-off post wash stuff until it was on offer at aldi and even then it was my other half that bought it for me. It stayed unused for a few months but now I’ve tried it, it does seem to work and make cleaning just a little bit easier and the results a little bit better – I’ve got a new bike so the way it looks is still important. I’d agree with the front mudguard but I’m not fussed about my arse getting covered in mud.

The Kingud bike protect works well at helping muck NOT sticking. As a tip NEVER spray your frame cos your discs will get contaminated. Spray it on a rag and wipe it on, and as you’re wiping you can inspect your frame.
