I’m mid bike build. I can get a decent gear ratio for me for relatively cheap: new deore m4100 11-46 10 speed cassette, I have a 10/11 speed derailleur which will work with this range, 10 speed kmc / shimano chain and would like 30t chainring up front.

The bottom bracket is DUB so options for me are sx / nx / gx / truvativ stylo dub crankset with boost x-sync 2 eagle chainring.

Question is will the 10 speed chain work on this chainring? Options of cranksets seem limited with the DUB bottom bracket.

    Cheers

Yes it will be fine. The difference between 10/11/12 speed chains is the outer width of the plates. Inner width the same.
