It could be the 'kicked in the balls' one, but we'll have to see where it goes.

Sudocrem cat, dodgy office goings on and the weird things kids say would be top 3.

Another vote for sudocreme cat.
Also the one about the car which sounds like a duck, I really enjoyed that.
.
I think the one about where to buy an aircraft nosecone sums up most what I love about STW, a both serious and lighthearted intelligent discussion on something totally random by poeple that seem to know what they are talking about.
.

Halloween/ghost thread was good, but I forgot about the car that sounds like a duck thread. Brilliant. Actual tears just thinking about it.

Sudocrem has to be the best written narrative of a crisis I've seen in years. The flag part had me laughing so hard for ages

Not because I posted it, but because of all the people who take part, I'd like to nominate the Ski/Snowboard thread. As with last year, such a bastion of banter and bonhomie! People are even being nice to telemarkists this year! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, and the rugby thread's a good 'un as well.

Most frustrating thread (and possibly best troll, along with metal fatigue) of the year was the "getting out of the friend zone" one.

I like the "hora's new frame is lush" series
I've saved them but only read the 1st 3 so far

friendzone was good - even quite reasonable trolling

links would be good as I'm far too important to searh for the others myself ๐Ÿ˜ณ

The "remove a letter from a Movie title" for me.

The Cat one made me howl, The brickie one was funny, but it's the ingenious wit of the removing letter thread that did it.

Didn't we have the Maths one last year..
The 0+1+0+1+1+0.... where the Big Hitters argued the toss.. That too was informative on so many levels.

mcmoonters tree thread is a shared favourite with the sudocremed cat.

Wanting to calm the cat before completing the rinse, I asked my daughter to go and get the cat treats (little crunchy Whiskas things) from downstairs. She came back wearing her cycle helmet and waving her 'emergency' Union Jack. This is a flag that she whips vigorously back and forth if a situation is deemed sufficiently dangerous. The situation in the bathroom became sufficiently dangerous and I now have holes in my Howies merino t

This bit made me laugh so much (still does)that I did have tears running down my face.

Hora's frame was quite funny, especially the epilogue. His fake testimonial to Jedi threw up a couple of classic quotes too.

Pretty much sums up STW to be fair.

Yeah, that was a lot of fun.

possibly my fave "on topic" thread was the "sticker or crack?" thread. The fact it gets regularly recalled with every "is this a crack?" thread containing the reply "its a sticker" gives it real longevity. Kind of a sleeper hit, like Grosse Pointe Blank, rather than an A-lister franchise offering like any Hora bike thread.
