Maybe the Las Vegas metropolitan police department are anti-semitic and making false claims?
Do you know, I think chief rabbi Mirvis is booked onto the Today Programme tomorrow to push this line. Probably chucking in something about Vegas being a den of iniquity etc.
🙄
They really are sick ****s, I hope this drone pilot wakes up one morning and turns their weapon on themselves
How much more blood soaked can our revolting government get ?
There is the possibility of a proven alternative given a little time
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised to unblock the situation, stating at the end of June that agreements would be signed during the summer to start exporting military technologies in the format of launching production lines. Zelenskyy added that the plan includes exporting drone, artillery, and missile production technologies.
The association believes that the list of countries eligible to purchase Ukrainian technologies should include those that have signed security agreements. "They are our unquestionable partners. It's not just Western countries; for example, Japan is included. The pool of countries is broader, but priority should go to the EU, because we seek EU membership," said the Director-General.

What interests me more is why haven't we reached the point where legal action against individuals in the current government can begin?
I find it very hard to believe that there isn't now a substantial case against Labour politicians, and possibly civil servants, for violating UK and international laws relating to war crimes and genocide.
Is it simply because the legal process in such matters is so slow? I honestly cannot believe that this Labour government will have managed to cover their arses that effectively, even with a former DPP as prime minister and a barrister as Foreign Secretary.
Btw when Sir Keir Starmer, who appears to be taking lessons in the art of lying from Benjamin Netanyahu, talks of Palestine Action targeting "Jewish businesses" I have no doubt that he is referring to companies such as Elbit.
Starmer is the sort of racist who would see Elbit Systems as a "Jewish company" rather than an Israeli company.
targeting "Jewish businesses" I have no doubt that he is referring to companies such as Elbit.
Hang on. I thought PA were planning a firebomb attack on East End Bagels. Have I misunderstood?
Right, it's September and Israel hasn't met Starmer's conditions - a ceasefire & reviving the prospect of a 2 state solution.
Is he going to honour his promise that the UK will recognise a Palestinian state or is it going to be quietly buried? I haven't heard any more mention of this.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgp5z1vvj5o
Starmer? Honour a promise? Well, I’m not holding my breath. Maybe Netanyahu will be swayed by a strong statement of regret?
Aaaand … U turn incoming
I really hope not and we do recognise a Palestinian state. I was hoping for a number of countries to follow France but apparently not.
Aaaand … U turn incoming
So he's flying here next Thursday?........nice plane....shame if anything happened to it.
I am literally lost for words, nothing says not interested in peace like bombing the negotiator's at the peace talks.

And I'll bet the Qataris are thrilled that Trump effectively green-lighted the strike.
We are entering an era of bastards in power.
Madness. This is just plumbing new depths. It is unthinkable that the US knew about this beforehand and didn't put a stop to it.
What do we bet the UK's response as a global player* will be?
Will we get really serious and actually cease Netanyahu's chocolate rations rather than merely threatening it? Tough stuff?
*We are not a global player

The U.S. only knew about the strike as it commenced due to their Quatari air defences on U.S bases

Oh, right.
So we can expect Trump to call Netanyahu to heel, then. Can we?
Bull. Shit.
What do we bet the UK's response as a global player* will be?
Well Starmer is still meeting the Israeli president and as a final act of infamy Lammy is maintaining that a genocide is not taking place. So - business as usual.
I think I'll need to avoid the news tonight, as I find the prospect of seeing pictures of Starmer outside No 10 shaking hands with the president of a genocidal, war-mongering country utterly sickening.
I don’t know how reliable these type of reports are, but on the face of it it seems to indicate complicity in the Doha bombing.
It wasn't covered in red paint by any chance?
I doubt the RAF tanker was involved. The IDF use mostly (exclusively for this sort of thing) US jets which have a probe or (flying boom) style refuelling receptacle, whereas RAF tankers have a hose and drogue type, which is incompatible. Including F35. We use F35-B, IDF use F35-A.
While the Airbus A330 Voyager aircraft can be equipped with the boom, the RAF versions (KC2 and KC3) only have hose and drogue.
Edit: The Qatar air force uses both French Rafale and UK made Typhoons which the KC2 can refuel, so it's more likely to have been providing support for them than the IDF
As if Israel need UK help. You've gotta love the mutually incompatible (but still strident) belief in the UK's global reach that exists on t'internet.
One bunch of people liking to imagine that the UK can just have a word and the likes of Netanyahu will suddenly shit himself and think twice.
Another bunch of people thinking we're complicit in IDF strikes.
The UK is relevant only as an arms supplier. And that is hardly significant. We voted ourselves out of our best shot at influence in 2016. Admittedly, that would make **** all difference in a Trump-Netanyahu driven conflict in any case.
Most likely the tanker was scheduled to enter the airspace at the same time as the attack and the yanks said "oh, it would be a bit bad if those **** limeys got shot down, we'd better tell them to circle for a while".
dont think they leave the beacon thing on when they are doing actual operations?!
"Release the hostages"
Hamas agree to negotiations in a third party country, an American ally no less
Israel bomb the peace talks, 1600km away
WT actual F
Why are Qatar now expelling american forces from the country?
Why are the international commmunity not hitting the roof?
What if Hamas agreed to come to negotiations in Europe, in France, Germany or the UK? how are those countries any different from Qatar? Cyprus would be a lot close than Qatar.
"Anti Islamic US Biker gang members run security at deadly Gaza aid sites".
Yup.
And (below) non-Israeli Jewish men who get horny about killing civilians can enrol in the IDF and indulge their passion.
But they'll all get away with it.
I think I'll need to avoid the news tonight, as I find the prospect of seeing pictures of Starmer outside No 10 shaking hands with the president of a genocidal, war-mongering country utterly sickening.
Let’s hope someone with a high altitude drone can drop a balloon filled with pigs blood over the pair of them as they stand at the door of #10
Yes but David Lammy says they haven’t, so that’s that.
with the Qatar thing last week (ish) its clear that the Israelis dont percieve any risk of come back. Theyve got America where they want them, and our pathetic western governments are too busy trying to balance the whims of the orange one to stand up and do anything at all.
Infact the lack of action by ANYONE regarding that attack cements their impunity.
My question is, what next?
Gaza is being cleared out as we speak. Before long their will only be refugees trying to scratch out a survival in the bordering nations, and the memory of Palestine.
Once that jobs done, do you think the world will move on?
Israel will go back to focusing on making weapons and computers bits, keeping American politics on a tight leash.
Trump will build his golf course over the graves of the palestinians.
The rest of us can turn back and go on back to bitching about potholes and the Kardashians
Pathetic that we are willing to sacrifice an entire people, to protect the balance of "the economy". Appalling.

But at least Kviatkowski will be able to ride his bike in peace.

Exactly what I posted almost two years ago on the original (closed) thread….for which I received a fair bit of abuse,
”This attack (hamas attack) is the perfect slaughter that Netanyahu could wish for, he’s supported the growth of Hamas throughout his reign as he knows full well that a Hamas led Gaza will ensure there is no desire within Israel for a two state solution and the recent slaughter of Israelis will give Netanyahu his excuse to carry out a 2nd Nakba and permanently erase the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and West Bank, this will be fully enabled by the Whitehouse and the evangelical Christian right within the U.S.”
Trump has won, they line up to lick the ring and offer gifts
Exactly what I posted almost two years ago on the original (closed) thread…
To be fair, that didn’t need much of a crystal ball. Unfortunately.

Not according to some apologists for the Israeli regime with the most moral army in the world, they have kept rather quiet this past while, good……I doubt I could hold my contempt for them inline with the forum rules

The Spanish government goes up in my esteem and the UCI down, though the UCI was so low already lower is difficult.
I'm surprised that no one's posted about the recognition of The State of Palestine by Australia, Canada & the UK.
It feels huge but whether it actually makes a difference remains to be seen.
That’s 150 of the UN member states recognising Palestine as a state now.
Much too little, far too late. Meanwhile they refuse to acknowledge that a genocide is taking place.
The recognition of Palestine as a state is a good thing. I don't think it will change much for ordinary Palestinians. I hope this isn't an excuse to do nothing beyond here. I'm happy to see it was in partnership with Canada and Australia - the UK has to dispose of its delusion that it can achieve anything on major geopolitical issues alone. I'd prefer to see closer work with the EU.

That $300m plane bribe that Qataris gave Trump doesn't seem to have bought much...
Makes **** all difference in the real world, cynical ploy by starmer to appear to be doing something positive.
If he wants to do something positive then place sanctions on every single person who lives in Occupied Palestinian Territories, sanction produce from the occupied territories, sanction every member of Netanyahu’s government.
That’ll do to start with, treat apartheid Israel the exact same way apartheid South Africa was treated
place sanctions on every single person who lives in Occupied Palestinian Territories...
seems a bit harsh on the Palestinians

Smart arse, but I guess you knew I meant every Israeli who lives in occupied Palestine territory
