You'd have thought they'd have learned in 2016 that people don't necessarily vote what they actually want - the vote against what they don't want.

And many don't want to live among people who "aren't like them"... promise them that and they won't scrutinise you beyond whether you mean what you say on that one issue.

You've never seen Tony Blair and binface in the same room .

Ummmmmm .

Tbf binface is playing a blinder just what the UK needs bit of ridiculous fun. Don't forget to put your bins out to show support.

****.

Basically taking advantage to get some publicity.

I know everyone wants to see Binface wipe the smarmy look off Farage but it’s wishful thinking ,regardless of the fantastic following Binface is getting, it’s down to the Clactoneers  and not the general public.

Hopefully the giggle of Binface in Parliament gets more of them out who didn’t vote last time.

The main parties are making a mistake by backing binface. Supporting binface just paints him as their proxy making it easy for Farage to claim it’s him against the system, despite him being a creature of the system. Not standing a candidate was the smart move, they should have just left it at that.

Are they? Not saying they are not, but not seen that directly in anything I've read.

TBH whatever they do Farage is going to come up with some random BS , the followers don’t care , they’ve even got a name for all the parties ‘uniblob’ or something like that, I don’t want to look at the Farage FB page that seems to have appeared in my feed in the last few days  (and I don’t have any comments on FB or follow any political channels. So Farage is being pushed.) but it’s frightening stuff.

How are they backing him? He's self funded as far as  I'm aware, with an occasional bit of crowdfunding from fans to cover his costs. I think he's refused offers of financial support from rich donors before. All he has to stump up to run is £500 deposit, which for once he will get back. I'd like to see the evidence that the main parties are "backing him"?

uniparty isnt it? Which does show how far down the rabbit hole they are. I do think there are issues around the triangulation politics of the late 90s onwards but ffs Reform higher echelons consists of tories.

They are a subspecies of the wider tory party or maybe vice versa.

A couple of mps have made posts which do support him but in terms of the leadership/party they arent.

Starmer said he couldnt endorse anyone and Badenoch said she would be staying home if she lived there. Admittedly both Badenoch and Burnham have made comments/posts suggesting they are finding it funny but thats not the same thing as actual backing.

Plus leaving aside the amusement I have read some comments that Labour are going to happily keep their heads down allowing Burnham to get sorted and Badenoch is also planning to to be busy trying to interrupt that with just occasional looks at Clacton for some light entertainment.

Must be annoying for Starmer though.

Christ! Is he for real? Or an AI interpretation of what a posh, fox-hunting Young Conservative looks like? Although, to be fair, I have, in the past seen some of those walking around on their hind legs, so they do walk amongst us.

uniparty

I’d suggest anyone referring to the Uniparty has spent too much time on Twitter as it’s very American.

If he doesn't capitalise and make a carton series, where at the end of each episode theres a moral to the story, he's missing a trick.

Unapologetic AI slop:

I think you're reading too much into it there fella. Nobody is openly backing him. They don't have to. By refusing to play Farages silly little game the other parties have just allowed Binface to carry the 'Anyone But Farage' torch alone. Something he seems to be rather enjoying. I love the fact that the Manfrog is now going to have to spend the summer running a proper election campaign in Clacton. I bet that's not on how he was planning on spending it! Good luck with him trying to portray a bloke with a bin on his head as a proxy for 'The Establishment'

Can you imagine the announcement of the count if Binface wins? It could provide us with the most iconic example of losing a seat ever, which would even eclipse the previous winner... 😀

Im not sure if the comedy candidate thing has gone too far, but there are rumblings that Boris Johnson may throw his hat in the ring for a second clacton byelection            ......!!

Blimey, the right wing Faragist nut-jobs are properly soiling their petticoats in outrage at the prospect of their hero losing his seat to a bloke dressed a bin. They're all going on about how it's an affront to democracy. Irony never really was their strong point, was it?  🤣

One of Count Binface’s headline manifesto commitments is to move the hand dryers at the Crown and Treaty pub in Uxbridge. By chance I am quite familiar with that seedy dump because I worked for many years in the office building next door. Which raises the possibility that the Count is not in fact an intergalactic warrior, but may be a bored IT middle manager for a multinational company. We need to be told!

In fairness to Farridge, he did state in his resignation flounce that it would be "the people vs the establishment"

I wonder if it's dawning on him that he is the establishment? - maybe not yet?

More a very successful writer/producer than IT middle management.

I can't remember who said it but never a truer word was spoken -

We need to be told!

You might need to be told that however what the rest of us need telling is:

Is the hand dryer really in such a crap position?

You cant announce you are familiar with the place without commenting on whether it does need moving or not.

it seems to be tightly squeezed between a urinal and the sink if the picture I saw was real

Tice gave an interview defending the Cottrells donations including stating they are from "very successful aristocratic family".

Doesnt really help the reform against the establishment line.

Guilty as charged. I honestly have no recollection of the hand dryer. I still wouldn’t be voting for Farage.

Sadly no chance with the good people of Clacton then. 🙁

It bloody well should do, he’s about as clear an example of ’The Establishment’ as it gets! I mean, he’s a sitting MP in the House of Commons, for the love of all that’s holy! Plus he has the whole posh privileged background as well!

Like many with his sort of privilege and education, he might be intelligent, but he’s really not very smart. An octopus could run rings around him.

So we now have a candidate list of an establishment public school banker donation fiddling fascist, a small boy, an out of work xenophobic actor, the least electable of the Corbyns (and that's not easily determined) and a man with a bin on his head.

No wonder our system is the one the world looks to 😉

Nah, I'm all for it. I've been meaning to learn to ride a unicycle for ages. This'll force my hand.

Great manifesto, seems to have downgraded his bin to something more akin to the people of Clacton's rubbish receptacles..

He’s going to abolish VAR. if Engerland lose tonight on the strength of a dodgy VAR call - which is highly likely - then Farage’s goose is well and truly cooked!

I love his strapline..

Vote Binface, because the alternative is Farage 😂
